Worship Services

Stained Glass Window with Flaming Chalice

Worship services are held at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings year-round. Typically, our services include: announcements, readings and stories, silent meditation, congregational hymns, a sermon, special music, the sharing of joys and concerns (monthly), the taking of an offering, and congregational response (sometimes). On most Sundays the first part of the service includes children and youth, who leave after about 15 minutes to go to their religious education classes. Several times during the year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and a few other occasions), the entire service is intergenerational. About 2/3 of our services are led by our minister, while the others feature lay members or guest speakers from outside the congregation.

Visitors are welcomed and may introduce themselves at the beginning of the service if they like. Informal socializing and coffee follow the end of the service.
